BIONEER Project Showcased at EuroCarb 22 in Sweden

The BIONEER project was represented at the 22nd European Carbohydrate Symposium (EuroCarb 22), held in Umeå, Sweden, through a poster presentation by Sebastian Kempengren from ULUND (Lund University).

During the poster session, Sebastian presented the BIONEER project’s innovative work on the utilization of second-generation carbohydrates, with a particular focus on techno-economic analysis conducted by ULUND. The presentation highlighted BIONEER’s contribution to advancing sustainable bioprocessing through valorization of non-food biomass and data-driven assessments that support scalability and industrial relevance.
