BIONEER at the Global Bioeconomy Summit 2026 in Dublin

From 19 to 22 October 2026, BIONEER was represented by PNO Innovation at the Global Bioeconomy Summit (GBS2026) in Dublin, Ireland, bringing the project’s vision for a more sustainable, circular and bio-based economy to an international audience.

As a sponsor of the event, PNO Innovation engaged with stakeholders from across the global bioeconomy community, exchanging insights on innovation, industrial scale-up and market uptake.

Two PNO Innovation experts also contributed to the programme: Anna Franciosini, who explored collaborative pathways to accelerate bioeconomy innovation, and Francesco Sottile, who addressed the economic challenges surrounding biomass feedstocks and the commercial success of bio-based solutions.

For BIONEER, the summit offered a valuable opportunity to strengthen connections with the bioeconomy ecosystem and promote the project’s ambition to transform sustainably sourced lignocellulosic biomass into innovative bio-based building blocks, supporting the transition away from fossil-based materials.
